Some thoughts for the Cast & Crew after the Play Polish Weekend...

First of all, I’m going to toot my own horn…….I rock at casting.!!!!…I have assembled the most talented, committed, hard working, sweet, lovely, dedicated, tireless, soul-searching, theatre-loving, sensitive, sponge-like, beautiful, patient, kind, funny, did I mention committed group of actors in the world…as well as the same goes to crew……I couldn't be more proud than I am of them after a grouling marathon rehearsal that went from Friday night at 7 until Sunday at 5!!!!!!….They all delivered in aces and were actually probably ready for more!!!!!…Many of you know the magic that can happen at our humble little rehearsal space……and that was never more obvious than this weekend….and especially Sunday morning early, when the not faint of heart, came out for extra help……pure unadulterated friggin’ magic was going on…..the electricity was in the air and I saw magic happen in front of my face…….ask anyone that was there if i lie!!!!!!

Make no mistake……it is not only my cast, but we have these kind of people all across our group…..ready to perform…..ready to put themselves out there……so make sure you are at the Saturday meeting of TK and be part of the solution to making our group sustainable……!!!!!

I cannot thank our polisher Rita Huschka enough…..her pure knowledge, professionalism, dedication and love of theatre, made for an exciting, productive and action packed weekend….I will give her my highest of regards and references out the wazoo!!!!!…..No one at our polish can say that she doesn't truly love theatre……Her only task was to help us TELL OUR STORY and she was the most giving, dedicated polisher you could ask for…….I actually had to tell her to go home….she would have stayed on and gone on and on……She reconfirmed my knowledge, that I knew intrinsically, that polishing is a great and productive experience……

To our cast that have worked so tirelessly and have been so committed please know that Gina, Tom, Barb, Jill, Maryanne, Gregg, Jim, David, MaryLouise, Jenne, Margaret, Christopher and many more and I are working diligently in the background with set, costumes, props, sound, makeup to support and magnify your efforts on stage…….trust us…..We also only want to advance our cause of “telling our story”……

Again, thanks to everybody……we are in the crunch period…..and we are in great shape…….
